Its been over 7 months since the last update, but a lot has happened (In my life and in the development) since then.
Long story short I dont remember all the changes but here are a few:
- Backgrounds: Most screens have a unique bg to add some personality
- HP: Progressbar changed to actual heart pngs, thanks to KidsCanCode for most of the code
- New Event: Giant Cake! Click the correct cake pieces for increasing rewards
- Crits: Click the little red thingies for extra dmg
Ive also changed a lot in the background, like how dmg is calculated, hopefully making it more clearer to add stuff in the future, and the way perk descriptions are generated, as a first step towards perk upgrading.
Speaking of perk upgrading, still working towards that, just not quite sure how they should be implemented:
- Every perk is upgraded individually and persists (Would have "Perk book" where levels and descriptions are tracked)
- Perks get upgraded during the run like in Hades
- Perks get leveled up all at once and persist
